Position title: Junior Web Game Developer

Status: Full-time

Salary: $30,000-$40,000 per year depending on experience

Objectives and responsibilities

At Affordance Studio, the web programmer develops, modifies, integrates and tests the company’s web game platforms. This person will work in a dynamic team making multi-media, interactive gaming environments.  He / she will participate directly in the decision-making process for our projects.

 

Tasks

  • Develop web gaming platforms with Django, HTML5, CSS, Javascript;
  • Work effectively with the technical team;
  • Ensure milestones and updates for projects;
  • Identify and solve technical problems;
  • Prepare company reports and documentation;
  • Perform research on software solutions where necessary.

Required skills

  • Knowledge of the following languages (or platforms): Django, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Git, PHP, Python.

Required qualities

  • Having previous experience working for a company in English and in French is an asset;
  • Having obtained a DEC in computer science is an asset;
  • Autonomy and attention to detail;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Ability to work in a team;
